Chrome vs Polished rotors
Hi. I am getting new chrome wheels and changing out the stock rotors as well. I know there are threads here regarding cleaning and what holds up better, but I’m curious if the chrome rotors squeak? A few people have told me not to get the chrome and to either get the polished or upgrade to the HD floating rotor. Any thoughts are appreciated. The last thing I want is to hear squeaking every time I brake. Thank you! Btw, this is for an ‘03 RKC.

Do not chrome rotors the chrome will flake off once you get some miles on them. Chrome will also add thickness to the rotors and might make it so they do not fit properly. Just have them polished and you will be happy.
