Default Rotors - Chrome or Polished???

I am ready to look into rotors for my bike.....What have you guys and gals found to be better for performance and longivity? Does the chrome even last, or the polished just tarnish???

Thanks All!

Chromed looks better but brakes less until the chrome gets scratched-off in the pads contact area.... my $.02

I ain't seeing how chrome doesn't wear off the surface where the pad rides.

Anyway, you can polish your stockers out to look like mirrors for about 5 bucks worth of sandpaper or buy a pair of polished aftermarket rotors for 100 bucks. I have done both. I polished and ran my stock rotors for 6 years before replacing them with some el cheapo polished ones after bending one of the original rotors. Either way, they will stay shiny and not tarnish.

Looking to get super spoke rotors to match my new wheels (fingers crossed, and santa is bringing them)

I seen some of the chrome and polished on the bay for about the same money. What pads are you guys running with chrome rotors?
