Same here. Plus when they are in the closer position they line up with the frame. Suttle thing but looks good from the side in the closer position.

I have a set of non ad that i used on my 08 for about 800 miles then went with forwards. pm if your interested!

Clean the threads with a 3/8-16 tap before you install the bolts.

I just made and installed my own set of floor boards which actually works well in conjunction with my foot pegs. No dragging on turns as they are the perfect height. Ran 185 miles yesterday and loved the options for position my feet.
