I'm a big fan of the PCIII USB, I put one on and have put 30,000 miles on it and the bike in 13 months with out a problem and it really bring life to the motor.
My bike has never been on a machine and it screams.
The new wide band PC is probly nice but then you are getting pricey, just like sert or TM.
The one drawback I have seen with the PCIII is you must have a laptop to do your tuning, and I find I have to zero out the throttle about one a month.
The PCIII you can get a canned map that will do great specially if you tweak it a little and get a tune when and if you decide you want to or need to, will run fine without a tune pretty much.
For a good stage 1 from my dealer with the sert I was looking at around 2500 buck, with PCIII I have about $950 bucks tied up and I did it incrementally.
Whatever tuner you choose make sure you can either work with it yourself or have a GOOD tuner you don't mind dropping a good chunk of $ on for a tune.
