Default 2-up seat nut cover ideas?

I run my solo seat most of the time but I need the 2-up seat nut available for quick swap when the wife wants to ride. However, covering that hole when running solo has been a thorn in my side from the start. When I went solo, I went into the dealer and bought an extra seat nut for the front and a chrome cap for the back one. The metal seat nut was about $2.50 and the plastic chrome POS for the back hole was $6 or $7. And so far, I've bought 3 of those things and have managed to lose all 3 while riding the bike. The last one I tried using a rubber washer to keep it from vibrating out but apparently that didn't help.

So, I'm looking for ideas. I want something that looks nice but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and is easily removable (i.e. I don't want to have to use loc-tite or something). In other words, I don't want to just put a screw in there. Unless maybe there is some sort of cap over it that looks good.

I know a lot of you guys are talented and/or have dealt with this yourself. Is there anyone that can make me something or know where I can buy something that will take care of this once and for all?

That's actually what I use on my seat. Looking for something a little less bulky or at least different for the rear nut.

I left the female threaded piece and c-clip in and use a plastic flush plug that goes into the threads. Clean and smooth; pop it out when I want to go 2-up. Some auto parts stores have a selection of plugs in little blister packs for a couple of bucks.....
