Default removing tank emblems

i own an 07 wide glide,my fourth and the best one yet! Any suggestions on how to remove the tank emblems without damaging the paint?? Already tried thick dental floss, no luck, just broke it.

Get it good and warm with a hair dryer and then go for the dental floss technique. The heat will soften it up for removal.

I had a road star I took the emblems off of.

I did it the easy way. I drove in front of a 150 lb doe.

use the dental floss or fishing string like a saw back and forth. make sure you pull towards you so it doesnt rub on the paint. then when you removed the emblems, pick as much of the glue off with your fingers. then spray some WD-40 on the remaining glue and let it soak in for about 5 minutes. then use a fine smooth cloth and keep soaking it with the WD-40 and slowly wiping the rest of the glue off. jackyl

i found that urine works best... i like to stand back a good 3 ft to make sure i hit the whole thing... they fell right off
