Default Dyna Pullback Risers, & Engine Guard

Other than Rivco (which are a ways out of budget), I am unable to find pullback risers that are about 3" to 4" up and about 2" back and will fit to the stock 2009 FXDC clamp cap. My wife's new Dyna needs some mods to work for her. We also wonder if anyone knows of engine guards that match up to where the forward controls would attach if installed. The Harley universal fit guard is SO ugly with the U bolts. Thanx for any assistance.

Not sure for a 2009, but the lindby bars for wideglides work on older dyna's with forwards..

I think the LinBar looks tough.

Default Engine Guards

I think I'm gonna go with the LINDBY Multi Engine Guard, however, from what I've read looks like they don't work with Forward controls. Bummer...I agree I don't like the HD version Engine Guards.

Did you check out the risers at J&P Cycle? http://www.jpcycles.com
They have a fairly good selection of risers. I am looking at a pair from them. Plus isn't everything on your 09 FXDC the same as a 08 FXDC?

I used the 2.5" pullback risers from Drag Specialties. The part # is DS-290126.

Give Lindby a call. The guy who answered the phone was happy to help me figure out which one will fit my bike. It's worth 5 min before putting on a plain guard.

your post doesn't specify your model or year Dyna, but Harley's engine guard that fastens with the u-bolts will not work on an FXD. it will hit the fender. DAMHIK.
