It's a piece of cake. Thanks for the part number, Gary. It takes about 15 minutes when you have everything you need. Of course, I didn't, and had to run back and get some more bolts. Aftermarket risers, such as these, are not threaded at the clamp end (handlebars). The 4 bolts you take out of the clamp are too short (by about 1/4") to go into the new risers and you need 4 hex nuts (since it's not threaded).
I got the nice chrome ones at the dealer (HD Clamp Kit - Part #94452-05 $8 for 4 - I know, expensive for bolts, but they look good). The nuts are just a 5/16-18 to fit snug in these risers. They only hit me up for about a buck-fifty for them.
No problems with the cables. The new risers still seem relatively short, but really make a big difference. I love 'em!

Yeah, I forgot to mention that you need new bolts and nuts. I used black anodized Grade 8 bolts from Lowes and then got the chrome bolt head caps from the dealer (which I hadn't gotten when I took the pic above).

These risers really do make a big difference, but I'm still toying with the ideal of trying this one, 56290-05:

Dennis Kirk has them that I put on my 2009 FXD and they were only $45. You need shorter bolts though as the stock bolts bottom out.
