I should get around $4,000 which is what I need to pay off the bike. That's probably the best thing I could do with it.

I would suggest since you already have the SE Dyna, you should forward me the funds and I can find something nice to spend it on..... Just a thought!

I bought mine new in 2007, started saving money then for the upgrades I wanted, did some research on the products I was looking at, and matched everything to work together, by the time my bike went in for the 1000 mile service it already had the pipes, air filter and fuel processor on it, I then started talking to the part department about the next step, which led to a cam swap, adjustable push rods, new rocker arms, new injectors, and changing the rear pulley. I spent endless dollars after that on dyno time because no one could seem to get the numbers that I was looking for. Well I finally found a shop with a dyno and a great tech to run it. after a few pulls and some adjustment we reach the numbers that I thought we should be at, but the tuner said no way, we can do better than that (my ideal was 100 rear wheel horse power) after an adjustment to engine and to the injectors and we were at 113 rear wheel horse power and over 121 foot pounds of torque. I decided that was enough. i went back a couple of weeks later for a check up, and a different tech did two pulls without making any adjustments and the numbers were the same as before. Now after riding it for about a year since all this has been done I am now looking for the next step, so be warned what ever you get will not be enough, but get what makes you happy.

Two years ago I spent $600 (that I got from selling an old HondaCB650) on V&H shortshots($300), Fuelpak($200) and a Ness Bigsucker A/C($99). I never liked the FuelPak so I replaced that with a Thundermax w/autotune that I bought used from a forum member($500). The ThunderMax rocks wish I got that first. I'm tired of the sound and performace of my Shortshots and now I'm looking for a Thunderheader or may be a set of Hackers Pipes ($550). I've always been happy with the Ness Big Sucker so that was a $100 well spent. So after two years I will have spent $1650 to get what I want. So I guess what I'm saying is... don't buy to fit your buget, save to buy what you want and do it right the first time.
