as said above, i use high tension fishing line but it is all the same... 1 at a time is what it takes... i blow 1 line though to that i tie fishing line 1 piece for however many lines of wires i need to get though , that way i just tie and tape, i wire per line and pull them out 1 at a time... works great
Brotha, I was just about ready to give up on this after trying everything else. Geting the line through when the bar is empty is the easy part. Getting the line through after 3 or so wires are in is where it gets tough. I've tried bundle them and lubing, but the eight wires in the left side just won't go bundled. I hadn't thought of fishing a line for each wire up front though. I am gonna give it another try your way.
works! done it several times... the first set i had to do like this was a set of cafe clubman bars... took me 3 days of trying, and then my girl sat down and did it in about 5 min! i was blown away... when i asked her how she did it she said something about how she used to help her moms boyfriend in the garage when she was a little girl, she had to pull wire though tubing for semi's... she showed me how she did it and i have done it since!

Joe, if you're ever come through NC I owe you a beer. That got me through the tough side with 8 wires. I used masons twine for the 8 guides. Still took a little while, becuuse sometimes one of the other lines would get pulled in without me realizing it, then I had a better idea. What works about your way is you always have another guide ready for the next wire. So I thought, what if I just ran a continuous weed eater line through it without cutting it. I ran it right off the spool through the bars. taped a wire to it, and pulled it through. pulled the tape off there, and taped another wire to it at the entrance, and pulled it through. Took about 10 minutes to pull all six wires on the right side, and they went very easy since the weedeater line helped smooth the transitions.
Thanks to everyone else who had suggestions also. A combination of all of them got it done.
