Pledge. I used it for 2 years on every square inch of my Sportster, including the engine, and she looked like brand new when I traded it for my Super Glide. Now I'm using it on my Super Glide.

I don't really use anything special. I wash my bike probably after every other ride, so it doesn't get too dirty. I use turtle wax ice when I wash it and it leaves everything clean and spotless. I hear good things about s100 engine brightner though.

Pig spit for black engines. Is that some kind of cleaner, or just a joke at wrinkle black engines?

I've heard this and will give it a shot.

Of course I only clean my bike about 3-5 times a year (other than after long trips), but at least it can look good for a few days!

Believe it or not but you can use Westley's white wall cleaner on the gray engines...

S100 all over the bike and then a good rinsing usually does the trick for me. But I've also used Shout stain remover on the engine and wheels before and that works pretty good.

But if that Pig stuff works on black engines, I don't see why it wouldn't on the grey. Just a different color powdercoat right?

I would also suggest Simple Green (e.g. at Autozone) and a rag.
