First Ever HD ride today and I
gave the guy a deposit- hes going to hold it for me for a couple more weeks until i have my money right. 2005 WideGlide, got some se slipons , stage one, no windshield
, and is pearl white with light grey flames. Im not crazy about white ( )but i think it looks a heck of a lot better in person than it does in pictures,lol. 7K miles on it and i think i got a good deal at 10K. Froze my azz off for about a 20 minute test run- and got off with a huge grin on my mug. Now I guess I will be flippen jonesing really bad (already am) , until I pick it up- kinda like wishing my life away for the next two weeks! Well I just had to shout it out, any opinions on this model year good or bad??? thanx- craig

When I bought my '03 Road King, I wanted it either Black or the Black/Silver color for the Anniversary. So, I waited for them to come into the dealer. One day my sale goober calls me up and says he has a white one. Told him I'm not interested. He suggested I just come take a look, anyway.
I knew it was just his sales ploy to move whatever he could as soon as he could. Turns out, though, I really liked it. Still do. I have Pearl White and it's something that stands out a bit on the road, which is a good thing.

Well I cant blame you. 10K is a great deal.
I have rode many bikes but my 2005 Wide Glide fits me like a glove. I dont ever want another bike. If I could afford two bikes I would get another 04 or 05 Wide Glide.
One I would totally dress up like a bagger for the long trips and the other I would strip down to a hot rod for the local rides.
