Default Clutch Problem..

Alright so I followed all instruction on adjusting the clutch pack and am pretty sure I did it right. The problem is that if I squeeze the clutch lever, the bike doesnt come out of gear. I can place it in neutral and start the bike, but if I place it in gear, and pull the clutch and try to startt it, it acts as if it is still in gear,,, is this normal?? If I leave it in gear and pull the clutch I cant move the bike. Is there something that I missed, or anyone else have this happen??

It sounds like your cable needs adjustment.

You can adjust the clutch pack till you're blue in the face but unless you adjust the cable there can still be enough slack to not fully disengage the clutch when the lever is pulled.

Well when I finished with the clutch pack , I adjusted the cable, and unless I am missing something I followed the manual and still does the same thing.

I think you will find what you are experiencing to be normal. A certain amount of drag will exist until the fluid circulates and heats up. Even then, I still get some clutch drag. I start the bike while in neutral and move the unstarted bike while in neutral because of this drag.

Thanks for that man, it was driving me nuts. I am sure I did it by the book and it has been awhile since I ran the bike do to all the mods I have down recently. Do appreciate the help from everyone.
