Talking Ahhhhhhh

SHEEEEOOT ! That felt good. 61 short miles this afternoon and it was AWESOME ! First ride since November and I was in Heaven. I have to run down to the shop (where I work) here shortly so that'll be another 70 miles at least, so I am lovin' the spring like weather today. Just a quick note...
I had the bike up to 100mph for the first time today. Actually it was the first I ever had any bike that fast. I must admit, I didn't really like the feeling
The bike was very stable....I wasn't. I know that sounds like a pansy, but I don't care, I'll stay below 90 and enjoy the ride much better that way. Well, I rambled enough, gotta go jump on the bike while the sun is still shining.

Dude, gotta be careful with that. It's been 5 months or so since you rode and you have to make sure you are 100% back in the riding grove. Of course, I can understand the excitement that led to it!

I know what you mean Jason, had the Lowrider out yesterday (62 degrees) and the Superglide out today (52 degrees), also first rides since Nov. I usually go to an empty parking lot or a big patch of pavement to get my slow turns and contollability back up to par before hitting any major roads./traffic. But yes it felt so good.

I was out for 200 yesterday and 2 trips of 50 today. Nice spring weather around us.

Supposed to be 75-80 all weekend and most of next week.

I ride all Winter and enjoy a good cold weather blast, but I am really ready for some shirt sleeve riding.

Die, Winter, Die!

70 here today. Took a short ride (for me), then a 50 mile ride.

Supposed to storm and such tonight and tomorrow and most of the weekend, but man did that feel good. That was the first ride of any real length that I've had with my Dyna, and it performed admirably. Smelled awfully hot at the end of the ride though.

Gave my Dad a chance to try it out before he took off for work. He liked it quite a bit.

Lot of other riders out today due to the weather. Was nice to see.

Mine used to have that smell when hot , when i put on my Thunderheader , i bought the Screamin Eagle race tuner and had it on the Dyno machine , runs excellent , must not be hot anymore the odor is gone , you might be running hot if not properly tuned

153 total miles today, and I'm sure there will be more tomorrow. Yeah, I agree about being a little rusty, but for the most part I'm pretty sure of myself(at sane speeds). The mountains around here rival the tail of the dragon, so some of the turns were fairly slow, also noticed my legs and shoulders are not in shape enough to ride all day yet. I guess I'll have to work on that.
