I went out for a couple of hours ride and one thing I noticed is my muffles are getting hotter then hell. I guess this would be the case sense the pipes are not as free flowing as the last baffles. Other then that the bike ran GREAT!!!
I just had a set of V&H Q-series Double Barrels put on my bike. I was looking for more of "the sound" than the loudness. These are plenty loud enough for me, and it has that deep rumble tones with out the popping when you back off. I'm really happy with these. They'll wake the dead for sure, but wont set off the car alarms. I also think the look is more appropriate for a gal rider. Here is a photo I just took of them while the bike is still in winter storage. My Signature shows the old stock pipes. Sorry for the poor quality as the lighting was terrible there.
Cant wait to get her in the sun, and get some good shot with all the upgrades I did over the winter. Maybe in another month if mother nature cooperates.
Oh, I'm sorry, let me run back to the shop and put my baffles back in. I wouldn't want anyone else to not like something I did to MY BIKE. Anything else I should change while I'm at it? Maybe there's too much chrome for "everyone else's" taste? I was under the impression that the whole idea behind owning a Harley was individuality. My mistake.
