Alright, I did a search to see if i could come up with a torque number for the upper and lower bolts for my rear shocks when i change them. I got several different numbers that were all over the place from several different people.
Does anyone know the accurate numbers for this on a 08 dyna superglide custom? The shocks are off a streetbob if it matters.
Also kind of stupid question, but i figured i asked before I buy a jack, do I need a bike jack to do this or can u get away with changing them one at a time with the bike on the kickstand? I figure not, but why not ask.
The 70 to 85 is only for the upper mount stud, not the nut holding the shock in place.
People probably have done them one at a time on the kickstand, but I'll bet they turned the air blue around them at the same time. I would recommend the jack stand, makes the job so much easier.
