rocker box covers
Had the bike at the dealer for the 10,000 mile service and the bike is running good but on my return I decided to give the bike a polish as it had rained on my ride up, now for the first time the dealer had given the bike a bit of a clean which surprised me, anyway I went to polish up the rocker covers with Maguirs metal polish which I have used to good effect many times, but there are stains on them that wont polish off, never seen this before, could the dealer have used something to wash the bike that would or could cause these stains. I have riden in the rain many times and have had no issues polishing the covers up before. The stains are like water marks and all the Maguirs is doing is shining them up.
