if i was goin for looks, sure wouldnt run a thunderheader....
i bought a used chrome one and coated it black. the finish was so-so but it had sheilds, so you couldnt see with them on.
if you could find a used one, black or chrome, you could have it rechromed or get it ceramic chrome coated.
or black chrome
I will consider other options fatcats, pro pipe, etc. But the thunderheader always sticks in my mind! I don't have a problem spending the money, but I want my moneys worth not only on the performance end but with looks too!
We all don't have the same priorities, mine are...
-sound
-performance
-looks
Makes thunderheader my #1 choice
sound I like the FC more (lower), but is subjective
Perf is almost identical - they trade off on reviews
looks is subjective - I like the TH look for older bikes, and the FC on others - I chose the FC and am absolutely happy with it.
As much as I would love to have an ugly thunderheader on my ugly bike, I think your bike is way to shiny and pretty for a thunderheader. Fatcat would be perfect for you IMHO. The performance is about equal and the build quality is way nicer. I really like the "crustiness" of the thunderheader...but I don't like it for your bike.
