rob i,m not sure if your intending to go with internal wiring. But it might be worth "testing" any bars you fit with the wires external for a while to be sure they are right for you. Its a lot quicker to fit and it takes away the pain of a "wrong" choice of bars.

Excellent idea. I was definitely looking at fat bars for internal wiring. You make a great point.

IMHO the lower ones look better. I'm not sure what the rise is on mine but they're very comfortable!

Nevil hows the comfort/feel with your bars?
I find them very comfortable and easy fro me to get used to, although I wouldn't mind them even lower. In the past I've always changed my bars a few times, but with internal wiring it's not as tempting. I'm 5'10" and my riding is in shorter trips, maybe no more than 100 miles at a time.

I'm running HD street slammers and they have 7" rise. I think there perfect for me(5'10). I ran all my wire inside the bars and didn't have to extend any of them. The only thing I had to do was get the signal extensions, that moved the signals over about a 1". But I don't think you have to worry about that.
