No matter what I did the buffeting was bad and I removed it.
IT SHOULD BE at nose level looking over, ive heard an air baffle off the big touring bikes can be modified to fit a dyna and that takes out the buffeting.

The baffle helps..maybe a bit...once I put one on I didnt take it off....I also prefer to look just over the ws...:>)
I look over mine. Like Newhawk, it'd need to be several inches taller for me to see through. On my old scoot, I had a tall windshield. Looked through that one.

I've got the 58346-06 QD compact shield and I've found that since I installed a 2" tank lift and added a fork bag about 6k miles ago that I have very little buffeting. Like Ronny says, it should be at nose level, looking over. The only time that hasn't worked is during a major rainstorm. Then I'll duck down a bit and look through the shield... or better yet, pull off the road.
