Hey! Great thread, but I have two questions...
1. Can I just take the heat shields off my stock 2006 superglide and wrap the pipes as shown?
2. After wrapping the pipes, do i need to rejet or whatever to the engine... (can you tell I don't know sh*t yet?) and, if wrapping is only for looks... I mean, I thought the wrap served basically the same service as heat shields... no?
Thanks...
mud,
how did you wrap your 2 into 1 pipes where they come together? do you have two different strands of wrap or 3? or 1 continuous piece? i cant seem to figure it out for my fat cats.....

.....07, I did this with TWO lengths of wrap.
rear pipe was wrapped first and terminates like this.....

.
.
now, (see next image),
when the front pipe wrap gets to the termination shown above,
it wraps over and hides that termination,
then continuing to the rear.

FatCat should be similar,
but you will be wrapping around two pipes after the termination of the rear pipe wrap.

be sure to have a look at the link in posting #1 of this thread.
post back if you need more info............

done by a local shop. i love it, but would've liked them to wrap a bit further down. However, I have grown to really like the way they were done in the "titanium" colored wrap instead of black.
