I have been running with a lepera silhouette solo for about a month now, I love the look but after 1 hour on the road I no longer enjoy the ride. It is a real pain in the a$$. I am 6'4 240#, I need a solo seat that will put me back as far as possible with comfort. I do have the extended forward controls and still feel to close to the tank. What would you recommend?
Mustang tripper solo or the corbin hollywood solo. I have the Mustang, others have purchased on my recommendation, we all find the seat to be great for all day. Corbin low profile solo gets great reviews as well. I don't think Corbin has a pillion option if that matters.
The Corbin Classic Solo can accept the optional pillion, but not the Hollywood Solo. The Classic Solo can also accept their backrest, if desired, and the Hollywood can't. You get a bit more support out of the Classic than the Hollywood, too.
Another difference is that the Classic has a bit of a ribbed seat cover and the Hollywood doesn't, but I think that's a matter of preference. I would've actually preferred the flat look of the Hollywood, but I ended up buying the Classic because it was more comfortable to me.
