Make sure your using the spacer on the top bolt, if your bike requires it. That was the only problem I ran into with mine.

Well, got them installed yesterday. Had to slot the holes in the bracket a good 1/8". What a pain that was... I don't have a bench vise, so it holding it by hand and filing took awhile.

Then came the power commander V. Placement of the unit wasn't so bad, but working with the wiring sucked.

Time to fire it up... WHOA YEAH ! Thats what I'm talkin' bout! hehe
Glad it wasn't later than 9:00pm

I did come across a wire with connector that was part of the original wiring that had 3 "tines" like a fork but only about 1/8" long. They were white and I wasn't sure if they came unplugged from somewhere when I took out the fuse box. Regardless, the bike started and ran fine. Just don't know what that wire connector was.. maybe a sensor?

Unconnected wires that you weren't aware of, should be making you nervous...

So were the tines/terminals white, or the wire was white?
Was it just a single wire, or multiple wires and a connector?

Well, the wires were wrapped in typical fashion, the wires go into a connector, the tines come out the other end and they are white (the tines).
Should have taken a picture but I was in a hurry.

I don't have a garage, but store and work on my bike at my mom's house.
I'll check the service manual when I go over today. Just thought I'd ask in case someone already knew what it is.
