Default Anyone put a bigger headlight on their BOB
I am thinking of getting a bigger headlight and was wondering if the stock headlight that is now on the Street Bob has a plug that you just unplug to remove. I looked at the headlight wires put they are covered with tubing and I can't find a plug. Do you need to rewire?

Open up the headlight and look inside. That's where the plugs are. You need to remove the pins from the plugs to get them out of the headlight housing.

I remember a thread where someone had put a 50's style light on a Bob, looked nice!

Yeah I put a 7" incher with the dual beam lense in it.

Kind'a like a flame thrower. The shell is off of a Fat Boy
I work nights and ride at night to get home where there are deer on the road.

overthehill let us know what you find... I'm doing basically the same thing... I was going with a better bulb if nothing else...
I tried some cheap driving lights from Wally Mart... great if you want to see the ground 5 feet in front of the bike...
