I am wanting to take my turn signals to the powder coat shop. Is it a pain in the a$$ to take them apart or re-install them? Is it worth just buying a set of nightster take-offs and just replace them?

 

The hardest part was taking the wires out of the center (white piece) inside the singal itself...found that having an extra set of hands made it a lot easier.

 

I didn't find it all that difficult and my powder coater only charged my $10 to do all four. So it was very worth it. Pulling the reflector/bulb housing out freaked me a little. Gotta pull pretty hard and I kept waiting to hear the sound of plastic breaking. Eventually the rubber seal gives up and the reflector pops out of the housing.
