New Seat (I dig it)

Just got my new Drag Specialties Spoon Style seat (as they call it) in today and anxiously put it on my ride and IMO, looks even better than I had hoped. I am really pleased with the way it follows the natural lines of the bike and the way the back sort or wraps around the rear fender. The padding is bit firm, and does not have a enough lower back support for some I suspect, but for my preference, the ride is exactly what I wanted. Keeps me well planted in the seat, the ribbing keeps me from sliding. The seat shape actually allows me to sit further back and therefore stretch my arms and legs out more than the Low Rider seat I had on previously, which is a plus.. I will have to see what a long ride will bring, but I am confident that this one will become a keeper....

side note: i see you took your battery band off, but you still have the holes. i just put some cheap stainless steel bolts through the open holes on mine. looks much better.

Actually, the reason it was off, is because the dealer that put my battery tender cable on, ran it so that it was exiting through the front of where the band ends and it was cutting into the wire. I removed it until I have the time to re run the wire under the seat so it will not cause the band not to run flush. Looking at it, I kinda like the all black look there, so I may use black plastic plugs for the holes, or maybe have the band refinished in satin black powder coat if I can get the plastic clips off the back easily...
