Thundermax with Security
Trying to install a Thundermax on a FXDSE2 that has a security system on it. What a pain!
Instructions say to recolate the security module to make room for new ECM. Dealer Service tech says needs to stay where it is for the bank sensor. Thundermax closed till monday. I am starting to wonder if they are going to be compatable. If the factory ECM talks to the alarm, will the Thundermax even be able to operate with it on the bike (is it programmed to recognize the alarm). If I try to totally disconnect the alarm, will the bike even run?
