whine in 6th gear?

Default whine in 6th gear?
does anybody else notice a different sound when in 6th gear and also what speed do you shift to sixth at usually?

just noticing a whine or lot more noise in the 6 gear.

My sixth gear doesn't make any noise.






That's because I don't have one!!

6th is pretty quiet on my Fat Bob.

I only use 6th on the interstates or speeds over 65-70 mph.
Anything less than that, and you begin "lugging" the engine too much if under a load.

No whine, and I don't shift into 6th unless I'm at least 65mph.

ive been running 6th gear about 65 and its fine anything lower and it whines. just trying to see if everybody else is havin the same thing.

Mine doesn't whine, it just doesn't like being lugged down, and anything less than 65 is going to lug the engine in 6th.

No whining; I don't reach for Six 'til 65+ unless I'm on downward grade.

65+ and no whine. But then again it took me about a year to finally hear the 5th gear whine everyone was talking about.

I go into 6th when I hit 80+.... Gota love those Autobahns....
