They've always came with the yellow jack. If you can get them under your bike, they give you a little higher height. They're just extra baggage for my purposes.

I've had my yellow jack for two or three years and it can with the adaptors - they work great for my four wheeler but not for a dyna. I've been using a 2x4 but think I'll spend a little $ and buy the adapters.

You do NOT need the HD blocks with this jack. Just use one adapter towards the front of the bike, then make sure your kickstand is up - that will balance out with the frame piece that sticks out. You will have to find the sweet spot so everything is balanced, for me I line up the front of the stand just in front of the mid control points. I might have a pic of this somewhere, I'll check later......
