I have an 09 Dyna FXDC with about 400 miles. I went on a short spin yesterday and noticed when pulling into the garage I would get a soft clunk when releasing the clutch in first gear. Noticed it a couple or three times before turning it off. Also noticed there is some excess play in the clutch cable now. This is the first time i have noticed either of these symptoms. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Sort of new to the BigTwin world and wondering if this is signs of a problem.

Pull the derby cover and make sure it's full of fluid, also check the adjustment on the clutch while you're in there.

 

Or stop by your dealership and have them look at it. May as well use your warranty...you paid for it!
