I have had an 05 Wide Glide seat on my 06 Super Glide and it fit OK with no mods. Back when the 06 models were fairly new and there weren't a lot of take-off seats available, several guys used the 04-05 seats and made longer rear moutning brackets to make them work.

So the 04-05 models fit well '06-up models only modifying the rear metal bracket?
What seat from '04-05 are good on '06-up Street Bob (also modifying the rear bracket), the one for Wide Glide, or also from Low Rider or Super Glide?
When you used the one from a '05 Wide Glide on your SB, did it match well on the frame and rear fender?
Seats from the 06 and later models show up frequently on eBay (and in the classifieds here) and they are all interchangeable.
The 05 Wide Glide seat fit OK, not great. If I had a choice of paying $75.00 for an 06 or later WG seat, or using a free 05 WG seat, I would pay for the newer seat. They fit properly instead of just OK.
