Default How many miles do you get on a set of tires

I just want to know because I seem to eat them up fast. I have 3400 miles and my front is worn down past the wear bars on the sides and just above the bars in the middle. The rear is even wear from middle to sides but down to the wear bars as well.

Im not complaining because I ride VERY hard. We have curvy roads everywhere and I just cant go slow. I just want to see you guys are getting about the same amount of miles per tire.

My oem rear lasted close to 14k miles, including one good burnout. My front is still oem at 15k and counting. Could be time for a front though. It's looking a little worn. I ride kind of hard too but don't have access to a lot of the twisties. Most of my roads are straight or very easy curves.

OEM Dunlops

Not an overly aggressive rider but not a Sunday driver either.

Most of miles are 2-up.

Rear got 10,500 miles with even wear

Front got 13,500 with even wear. (Could have gone longer but was taking a 1,000 mile trip and wear bars were showing)

Default Mileage

Average to aggressive rider here. Dunlop OEMs got 12k/10k (front/rear). Now running Dunlop SE180 rear and GT502F front and both are shot at 7k, just ordered the SE 180 again (love the look, hate the mileage) and a Dunlop K591 front (got a good price on it).

OE tires for the 06 wg I got 12k rear and 17K front.

Dunlop D220 170/60R17 best handling tire I had mounted to rear only lasted 5k miles till steal cords showed. Replaced front when replaced this tire.

Now have Metz ME880's 170/60R17 rear 90/90 21 front. Looking like they are evenly wearing, may get 8k miles out of them but is just a guess.
