I know Sniper77 just did a 95", cams and headwork. I can't touch him on my 96". He just walks away....quickly.

I'm not a big fan of SE cams.

I would pick a Andrews 26 if you are going to stick with a mostly stock engine, 37 if you are going to modify. The 37 is a really good all around cam!

Engine work is something you really want to sit down and plan out. You have to decide first how far you wanna go and how much you want to spend. I wouldnt plan a build around a cam, but rather what you want to get out of the engine. Once you figure that out, pick your cam and design the build.

Where do you live? Just trying to get an idea where you are, you might have some excellent builders or machine shops in your back yard.

Default SE 211 Cams

My first engine mods were a 95 inch kit with HC pistons, 211 cams, and a S.E. race tuner. It made 85 HP with 93 Ft lbs of torque. Not great numbers but the torque started down low on the rpm range and went well to 5500 revs. All in all, it was a lot more fun to ride than a stocker.

Sometimes you can find a 95" kit with SE203 cams, SE cams are like which oil is better, I just put the 95" kit with the 203 cams and it really woke up the motor. The cams come in around 2500 rpm and it just pulls like a locomotive especially two up. I have a SE/K&N air filter setup and low restriction slip-ons. The carb has been warmed up a little also. I might be wrong but I thought the 211 cams work best with the 103" kit which would require a stroker flywheel when starting with a 88" engine, I could be wrong.

You could just put an Andrews 26 in it for cheap, it's bolt in. Give ya a little more of what your looking for without a big price tag.
