I'm looking for some help. I'd like to put some mids on my '06 Wide Glide to give me an alternate foot position during long rides. I want to keep my forwards and just put on some pegs. Can anybody let me know what I need to do it?
All you need are the right and left side peg brackets from a mid control bike, at least that is all I needed on my 03 WG. I got mine for free + shipping from a member here! Wait a few days and I'm sure someone will offer some up!
Its really easy to install them, took me 10 min. I love them, I have a bad back and the ability to move my feet back while riding really helps out!

Thanks again ackman1968!!!
You're welcome, but I should thank you as well. That opened up more room on my bench to throw crap on.
Ok, I just went to hd dealer and had whats needed Itemized and price quoted. This was for my 2001 wide glide. I'm sure it's the same for yours. I got luck and just found some from a member here. After seeing the quote, I sure was glad I went looking for used ones first.
Ya know, I've thought about doing the same thing. I may have issues with the thunderheader being in the way though. Haven't gotten down and dirty with looking at clearances.
Let us know how it turns out. Would like to see the finished product.

Pretty sure it would be in the way. My cycle shacks just clear the bracket by about 3/8"
I have floorboards on my WG. I can hook my heals over the front, put my feet flat on the boards, lay my heel on them with my feet splayed out, or, I end up pretty close to a mids position by resting just my toes on the back of the boards.
Works pretty damn good, and gives me a lot of options.
