I spent too many years around B52 bombers..... my ears have been ringing 24/7 since 1978. My hearing has been shot most of my life.

I do however use the soft plugs on long rides, which I classify as anything over 300 miles at a whack.

I like the wind in my face also... A half helmet and ear plugs will do the trick. I added a QD Windshield and it really relaxes me on a long ride.

Skull Kandy ear buds, I got an old set that only works on one side, perfect for ridin', tunes on one side, wind blocker on other side

I ride with ear plugs no matter what helmet I've got on. Way too much shooting and loud *** music when I was young. My ears ring 24/7 and I dont want that getting any worse.

Earplugs are what I use. They're cheap, light and easy to use.
