So I just got a call from the dealer, they are refusing to warranty my TSSM because I wired my own tail light. Aside from being frustrated that they cannot explain how that would fry a TSSM I now need to replace it my self.
I have found the TSSM Module (68925-07) on Zanotti for $185, the thing is i view the security portion of the bike as just another thing to break and don't really need it. So, does anyone know if there is just a TSM that will work for my bike and what its part number is?
Now I need to go chill out for a few minutes... ugh.

I don't have an answer for you but I'd love to put a TSM in place of my TSSM. I hope someone knows if it is possible. I bet the ECM will need reflashed once it is done (hope not).
'Typically' I have noticed that the last 2 digits of the PN are for the year the part was introduced. Off hand I would say that this part fits your bike. I got this PN from an 08 softail parts book. I suggest you go down to your local harley dealer and ask to see the 07 parts book to verify.
Was that at Patriot? I only know 1 guy that likes the place - but he drops a lot of cash there so they bend over backwards for him. I'd try Winchester, or at least call them...
