4 piston Brembo's Here goes you need a caliper and caliper bracket from an 08 Dresser, next cut the anti rotation tab off the bracket, ream the hole to fit the axle and install on the bike. Rotate the bracket to the tab on the swingarm, cut a cardboard template of the aluminum you will need to have tig welded to the bracket. Next have a good welder tig weld the spacer to the bracket then tig weld the anti rotation tab onto the spacer in ther proper location to engage the tab on the swingarm. you will need to make up a new spacer for between the axle and the bracket, mine worked out to .580 inch and I used the .5 inch origional spacer bet the brkt and the swingarm. Your master cyl and line work fine all you need is a little paint on the brkt adj the axle for align and tension and you are off with far superior braking than stock. I did this on my 06 FXDI3500 and it should be the same for all 06 and newer. I will attach some pics. REED
This works with my new froint end from motorcycle metal with cartridges, dual Brembo's and all in chrome. Thanks again Howard
sport bike shocks, big brakes... you going to be road racing that thing?
No racing for me Just finished my engine work etc last winter and the 131 had way more power than the brakes and susp were up to so added the OHLINS a new Baker DD7 trans and new foerks with adj cartridges and dual Brembo`s on the front, now I have enough brakes and susp for anything I want to do, you never know I might just kill myself on it this summer, at least that way one can go quickly while having fun and tghe old lady could collect the life insurance LOL LOL. really getting old is no fun 60 and counting, some days I have a hard time walking let alone swinging a leg over the seat.

I am very pleased with the DD7, when I built the 131 for my bike I ainstalled the Andrews 2 tooth larger front sprocket, 6% overdrive and found that even with the large engine it was too long legged in 1st gear. The DD7 put 1st to
close to the same ratio as on my 04 Dyna and spreads the geaars in a much more useable range all the way up to 7th which is the same as 6th on the cruise drive 6 speed. In my opinion the DD7 would give you about the same bang for the buck from the low end well up into the midrange as if you spent 3-4G at the stealerships. Bakier sells them at the rallys for $ 2800.00 or I think $3200 installed. The heavier the bike the better the benefit, also for any performance changes you make after all the better it will feel, also it is about 30% stronger than the stock unit and comes with a great guarantee.
Hope I havent talked your ear off, if you have any further questions you can pm me or call anytime at 403-556-9530. Tom

I have a Hero helmet cam with audio one day when \I get some time I'll figure out how to work the cam amd film a blast through the gears on a straught complete with audio and get it posted on photobucket so you can get an ideaq what it's like. Tom
I can't imagine that progressive brakes can come close to matching the perf of 3 4 piston Brembo brakes unless it is in their overpricing. Tom
