Default Will Rinehart for Softail fit?

I have a friend at work that has a set of Rinehart exhause on his 08 Night Train. Just wondering if they would work on my 06 Super Glide. I would assume not, but they don't look much different.

Not a clue. I wouldn't think so though. Try checking their website and see if the part #'s are the same.

As long as the clear the oil fill hole the rest can be made to work. The mounting bracket that supports the rear will most likely be different but you can make one or buy the right one from Rinehart.

Thanks for the help. He said he would sell them to me if they would fit. Now I just have to make sure they fit.

They will tell you they won't fit (personal opinion). You will most likely get an operator/order taker that will see they have different part numbers and call it at that. That said it doesn't mean they won't fit with a little work. The pipes on my bike are for a 2005 and older Dyna. There is a difference in the hardware for installation but the pipes themselves bolted up no problem. If you are good at making things work/fit you may be onto a set of pipes, if you're not one to make things fit where they don't belong I would say pass on them.

With ours being rubber-mounted "A" engines and the Softies rigid "B" engines, it's prob'ly set up to have a frame-mount for supporting the rear. Ours are entirely engine/tranny supported with no frame coupling. If the rear clamp/mount is not a "fixed" style and can be slid up or down the pipe instead, then it could be just a matter of clamping on a Dyna mount that will attach to the tranny, or fabbing one. If the clamp/mount system is unique for the Softie frame, it may be doable, but cost/time/fab prohibitive. Not speaking from any personal experience, but that's how I'd approach the challenge.
