super05: If you really want to find out a price, then you can PM Howard personally. And what, you join this message board and have 5 post and you are already arguiing trying to start ****..? My guess, would definitely be a troll.. so you can go back to where you came from and let the rest of us enjoy this board for what it is. We don't need any douchebags on here.

And honestly, I love the gold resorvoir. I think it looks AWESOME. Whenever I see them, I immediately know there Ohlins. I think they look great.

please point out in my post where I am arguing or "starting ****"?
in the reply to my post - I was talk down to by Mr Messner and quite frankly I didn't appreciate it - regardless of how many posts I have, I replied accordingly.

what's your definition of a "douchebag"? someone who disagrees with you?

I've poked around this site a bit and it appears that Howard is no longer a sponsor. In that case - there would be no reason for him to quote a price here - and as he has mentioned - it is likely against the rules for a non-sponsor to do so. For that - I apologize.

I stand by my opinions on the reservoir.

He clearly explains why it is not appropriate to list the cost of the item, and yet you continued to pester him about him. Obviously he's not a site sponsor, but he also CLEARLY does not advertise his products. People go to him for items. And in what way were you talked down on? From my end of the computer, there was no disrespect.

It think you mean "with respect to the forum rules", because "in respect to forum rules" makes little sense at all .....

people talk about price here all the time .... how can it be against forum rules?
you actually try to sell stuff here - how can you not answer a simple question about how much something costs? Click on a link to a site sponsor - brings you to a website with $ signs (that means dollars)

IMFO -(that means in my ****ing opinion) the gold sticks out in a negative way - given the look of the rest of the machine.

I can't imagine why you try to cloud the issue by talking in riddles (yes - i've read some of your other posts - talking in riddles seems to be your specialty).

The question is simple - How much do they cost?
This to me, sounds like your are trying to start ****. He gave an answer. Should have ended there.

super05- you are NOT in adrian's bro group, you are not allowed to come in here and ask questions such as "how much is that?" until you are approved by her.

failure to comply will result in being called a douchebag troll.
As for you.. I completely do not understand why you are even a part of this message board. Not only do you NOT supply any bit of helpful information, but your just annoying. I don't give a **** if he asks how much it cost, but when the man gives an answer as to why its inappropriate, and the super05 insist on knowing the cost after the answer was given, its being stupid. As stated earlier, there are enough people on these boards who try to make this fun and informative Forum as miserable as possible, and I do believe you to be one of them. Why you haven't been banned from these forums, I'll never know. You haven't done anything but stir up annoyance/trouble around here, but whatever. Thats the joy about this internet thing is, that I don't have to read the completely moronic comments made by morons. So, with that being said, enjoy.

leeinmemphis: I sincerely apologize that your thread was hi-jacked. I hope your able to give us a ride report as soon as possible. I'd love to hear how great those bad boys feel.

You beat me to it - after reading through all the crap in this post, I finally got to someone who thinks like i do. Screw the cost - if you're only gonna F@ck up ur bike with a springer front end - why would you put a Great performing shock on the rear? Makes no sense.

Hey everyone,

I just got in from a couple hour ride on the new shocks. Overall I like the ride/handling of the bike but I still need to play with the preload. I have it a little tighter than I would prefer so some of the larger bumps are still a little harsh. I'll adjust them tomorrow and try to get out some to ride it a little more. I'm sure once I get it dialed in I'll be happier with it but it is already alot better. I had a type of pacemaker put in my neck in January(nuerostimulator) and I have wires in my neck so every harsh bump was fairly uncomfortable. I'm sure it will take a few hundred miles to get them dialed in just right. I think the front will need something but I really want a springer front end but I also want a good handling bike......so when I rationalize it I'll probably just upgrade the front conventional forks even though I would love to have a springer.

Nothing LOOKS like a Springer, I'll agree - they LOOK badass. As far as handling and performance go, well - nothing badass about em. There are some great handling aftermarket forks - Somebody put some inverted forks on a Fat Bob. I'd look for something performance oriented as well as easier to change the fork oil.
