Received my Ohlins shocks today....(some pics)
And honestly, I love the gold resorvoir. I think it looks AWESOME. Whenever I see them, I immediately know there Ohlins. I think they look great.

in the reply to my post - I was talk down to by Mr Messner and quite frankly I didn't appreciate it - regardless of how many posts I have, I replied accordingly.
what's your definition of a "douchebag"? someone who disagrees with you?
I've poked around this site a bit and it appears that Howard is no longer a sponsor. In that case - there would be no reason for him to quote a price here - and as he has mentioned - it is likely against the rules for a non-sponsor to do so. For that - I apologize.
I stand by my opinions on the reservoir.

people talk about price here all the time .... how can it be against forum rules?
you actually try to sell stuff here - how can you not answer a simple question about how much something costs? Click on a link to a site sponsor - brings you to a website with $ signs (that means dollars)
IMFO -(that means in my ****ing opinion) the gold sticks out in a negative way - given the look of the rest of the machine.
I can't imagine why you try to cloud the issue by talking in riddles (yes - i've read some of your other posts - talking in riddles seems to be your specialty).
The question is simple - How much do they cost?
failure to comply will result in being called a douchebag troll.
leeinmemphis: I sincerely apologize that your thread was hi-jacked. I hope your able to give us a ride report as soon as possible. I'd love to hear how great those bad boys feel.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I just got in from a couple hour ride on the new shocks. Overall I like the ride/handling of the bike but I still need to play with the preload. I have it a little tighter than I would prefer so some of the larger bumps are still a little harsh. I'll adjust them tomorrow and try to get out some to ride it a little more. I'm sure once I get it dialed in I'll be happier with it but it is already alot better. I had a type of pacemaker put in my neck in January(nuerostimulator) and I have wires in my neck so every harsh bump was fairly uncomfortable. I'm sure it will take a few hundred miles to get them dialed in just right. I think the front will need something but I really want a springer front end but I also want a good handling bike......so when I rationalize it I'll probably just upgrade the front conventional forks even though I would love to have a springer.
