My wife wants to ride with me and she's not tiny. what seats are out there that are comfortable for the passenger and wide enough for junk in the trunk to fit a 08 street bob?
My wife IS tiny and my bike came with a 2-up seat and she wasn't comfortable on it. There are a lot of seats out there. I bought a HD Sundowner seat and she was happy with it - I was not as it pushed me higher and more forward (I'm 6'4"). I traded it for a HD Tallboy which is basically the same exact seat except the front part doesn't push you forward. It's very comfortable for me and for her but it's BUTT UGLY on my bike. I only use it when she rides. I could ride all day on it though.
I have a sundowner 2-up from harley and it has a good wide passenger seating area the only trouble is it put the driver up and forward a bit
but it`s very comfortable.
i have the same bike 08 street bob
i can e-mail you pics if you like

Sundowner is the safest bet, most likely. I have a wide glide seat on mine, but my wife is only 125lbs and does not like the Sundowner at all. Which is good, since I don;t like it either.
i have the harley touring seat works for me and the old lady.i am 5 ft 8.its about the best harley makes for the dyna but it is no electra glide seat. i think you might need a bigger bike?
Had a Mustang on the sporty and was told i twas quite comfortable...medium passenger for 150+ miles and a large passenger around town. The seat area was relatively wide, but did need to be broken in.
I have the HD pillion that mounts over the rear rack on the SB. Lots of padding...but only small to medium passengers so far
I was/am in the same boat as you. Bought the Sundowner and she loves it. Like others have said, it does move you foreward a little. But not to much that you can't compensate
I go back to my Mustang vintage when she is not riding with me.
I too had the sundowner but didnt like the look of it, places you higher and forward. Passengers like it though.
I also have a stock low rider seat and a HD sidekick seat.
The sidekick is the best for me but the stock lowrider seat is not a bad all around option.
