Default Been a while....

But I'm back! I became depressed last summer when I realized last summer the Bob just wasnt going to happen. Well, after taking care of some things this past winter I'm finally able to drop off my deposit this Thursday to take delivery on my 06 Bob in 4 weeks! Ahhhhhh nice and since I've only owned sportbikes and all my neighbors are Harleys owners, the entire block is just as stoked as I am...lol, looks like I'm riding to Sturgis this year!

Anyways...I see someone posted their pics with the Big Radius pipes on...anyones else? Any issues with the install and does it require a remap of sorts? Other than the wife kit (lol) pipes, white walls and bigger apes I'm not doing too much too it. This bike/family has been a long time dream and I can't wait to become apart of it.

Thanks...Support our troops

Good pic, its probably going to be the most popular harley ever made whe its all said and done. As far as the pipes, I have the Superglide with the Big Radius. The bike is vivid black. I did the install myself, not too bad. I love the sound. they have a distinct V&H sound that either your gonna hate or love. I dont think there is a middle ground with them. One thing that I do notice with the V&H is that at idle they are still pretty loud where as alot of aftermarkets are loud when you get on it.

You will need some sort of fuel manager and a high flow Air Filter. My whole set up was as follows

V&H Big Radius 675.00
PCIII 279.00
AC(K&N) 115.00

SO As you can see the money adds up fast.
I used to ride nothing but rockets, altough fun to ride there is nothing like getting on a hog and riding with a group of others. Te best thing about having a harley is the community and the people you meet just riding around. You just dont seem to get that with Rockets. There seems to be more of an ego thng with rockets. Might be the age factor and maturity thing. Just my opinion though.

Good luck with your new Bike
