Does anyone have the V&H big radius 2 into 1 pipes, how do you like them.
I was thinking of getting them for my bike and just wanted to hear what those who already have think about the pipes and the sound
My buddy Rich has one and he loves it. Ridding with him it's mellow when idling or cruising, but barks when you hit it. It sounds good too!! Here are pics that I have, thought I had better ones, but couldn't find them.

Hi there,
I have these pipes on my '08 Street Bob and I love them. They ROAR! My only problem is I like to commute to work on my bike and there is no way I can start my bike at 7am! I've bought some quiet baffles (from smartpartz) for them but can't get the old one out yet!!! Once the bike is warmed up they do tend to quieten down though.
Also you don't see many bikes with them, or you don't in England anyway.
Love these pipes as well. I had the first set to be made for Dyna's thanks to a beer shared at a Big Bear Choppers event while I was on the west coast (good and long story there). Had these pipes on the bike since I bought it and absolutely love them. You get HP and sound...a throaty muscle car type sound that gets even deeper if you do engine work.
Only complaint at all is that the front elbow will drag in hard right corners. Doesn't look like it but several members here includinig myself can confirm.
If V&H could change the bend, slightly higher / closer to the engine, these pipes are bitchen, quiet when you need, loud when you want.
I have the the black version. I have to agree with all, the sound is different from the classic Harley sound. Nice rumble at an Idle or cruise but when you lay on it, it opens up to a great pronounced distict sound. I think it compares to a NASCAR sound. My wife's bike has the Rinehart 2 into 1 with the low rumble and dark sound. When riding with her, hers usually drowns out mine if I'm beside her.

It's a deeper tone, more like an aftermarket auto exhaust. So its deeper at idle and louder at higher RPMs. Not as loud as a thunderheader, but a much better tone IMO. The down sweep that causes it to resonate on the ground makes a sweeet rumble. I've set off plenty of car alarms just cruisin 25-30mph
