Default Local Indy shop and 103"

My local guy can send the heads and juggs out to Branch headshttp://www.branchokeefe.com/

and have it bored out to 103 and have Branch do their magic to the heads and then we are going to add cams and adjustable pushrods, also I think forged pistons. Total cost is $2800, is this reasonable, I think it is...................

Anyway we are figuring on over 100 HP and over 100# torque which would be nice.
The thing is, is their any downside to this, I mean I don't want to lose any innate goodness that the motor has now. I like the feel of the engine and all now, will it still have the lovely vibrations it has now, or will it be more rough edged? I know hopped up harley motors i hear on the road sound alot meaner than mine, which i like, but want to keep the way it feels as well, I am coming from an 109 inch Suzuki and a 113 inch yamaha so I do appreciate more power.

P.S. Love the Fatbob!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you'd probably enjoy the bike even more. Have yet to read where someone was unhappy after a bb kit. Enjoy

I'd say 2800 is real fair for what all you list.

downside?? I don't think so. If you want it do it.

I dont know how musch (if any) of the install you are going to do but you can get the 105" set which has jugs, Andrews cams, Keith Black Pistons, gaskets and headwork done for 1495 from these guys.

I think thats is a pretty good deal but I have not dealt with them but I did give them a call to get more info about the kit and they were really good to talk to.
