the bubs didnt come with gaskets??

Save yourself the trouble get a pair of the Standard HD Gaskets .. Reinhart/Bub gaskets are Junk..

All good advice. I have changed my pipes twice, plus have had the sideshots on and off a few times. I also use the standard hd gaskets and no loctite. Never had any trouble. Not sure how your pipes mount, but withe sideshots its important to make sure the flanges are seated good at the heads before tightening any other brackets. To me that sounds like good advice for any pipe install.

Well, all was good advice.. but, I think you should HURRY UP and put them on and get a sound clip. I'm very curious to see how they look/sound!! HURRRRRRRRY.

If you havent started yet, an extra set of hands are good too when you r getting the flange bolts started.

damn snap rigs don't have holes to grip them with ,what flat screw driver them out?

I don't have anything to add to the excellent advice above, so I'll just wish you good luck with the install, and hope you don't get a ticket for loud exhaust!

well so far all has come off real easy except the snap rings don't have any holes to grip them with

I always have a spare set on hand in case they get damaged.

Should be fine, as long as you don't get violent removing the originals.

thanks mud! and the next question is the old crush gaskets.I put a piece of rag into eachexhaust manifold now do I just scrape out the old gasket?

Man one of the rings was not even seated properly from the factory!
