Struts and starter... Help
Hey, Two things I need some insight on(worded that pretty good),what's the best way to re-align the strut mounting bolts, my quess is to have the bike level and have the back lifted or not. next is I was having trouble with my starter. I thought it was the starter,but I started with the solenoid,the bendix,then the starter. T he starter bench-tested good but when I put it back on it was locked up. If I back off the two long bolts that bolts it on,it works fine,but if I tighten the starter up it locks/binds up. I'm sure there's something I'm not aware of, but it seems to me the starter shoulndn't be loose to work. Any help will be appreciated,I'm on the Harley learning curve,btw any members in the Crestview Florida area give me shout,thxs again,Terry

I'm guessing you mean line up the holes to get the bolts thru? I had mine on the jack and just lowered it to the point where they lined back up.
