Default Rain and front fenders question

It has been a very wet spring here in Utah and I have been caught in more than a few storms. Each time my shoes fill with water coming off of the front fender. I have forward controls on my super glide. My question is, has anyone used a custom front fender that works better for keeping water off the bike and rider? Thanks

Short of neoprene fishing socks, ( I've never tried them ) I can't imagine how to keep your feet dry. You're gonna get wet, and once you are it's not so bad you know.
All the stock fenders for superglides are for looks. I've been messin' with a nice full fender for mine for a while, mainly to keep the motor cleaner. It's one of those things I just haven't finished yet. I look forward to posting some pictures when I'm through.
I've been busy replacing the sub floor and up in the master bath and kitchen due to a plumbing failure. I look forward to having a life and hopefully extra dough when this is over...

I don't think any one makes a fender that will do that.If there was one that worked it would have to cover the whole tire from top to bottom!

I called J&P and one of their Tech peeps suggested a fender that I have on my Wide Glide now and it worked out well.

Ya gotta have the proper raingear over your legs, and rain boots if you want your boots not to fill with water when riding in heavy rain.

+1. Don't use a bike mod to fix a clothing problem. Get a decent set of rain gear. Just my opinion, of course.

+1...or just buy waterproof boots. Or waterproof spray and give your current boots a handful of coats.

You could tie trash bags around your lower legs.

Thanks for the suggestions both for the bike and for the rider. I commute to work on my bike and usually wear a suit, so short of changing at work in my office I am stuck. My commute is 45miles each way so it is a great ride but sure sucks getting caught in a down pour. Thanks for the posts.
