Got my D407 rear today, getting it mounted on the wheel and balanced tomorrow. Gotta drive 90 miles one way to get it done though. The other two places that can do it within 30 miles are all booked tomorrow......
Oh well... it's supposed to be bad weather tomorrow anyway...
Comparison... sorta it's not mounted so hard to do a *real* side by side compare..... but I like the style and look so far:

Yeah, I called the one place within 15 miles of me, and got "well.... call us when we open at 11 and I'll let ya know".
The other place, 30 miles away.... "... we got a big ride tomorrow, so I scheduled the shop real light 'cause we're gonna be swamped.... maybe we can Tuesday".
Frig, I'm asking for 30 minutes worth of work..... oh well...
Nice to hear there Don. So far I've heard from you and Mudpuddle that run this tire. Both positive responses, so I feel good about that. Just had to do something different than put another K591 on there.... and change it out in another 7K miles...
Sorry Ronn, forgot you had weighed in on the tire thing...

What you need to do is learn how to change your own tires its not that hard realy. And you could save a bunch of money too.
Yup, my brain was already heading in that direction
So I'm thinking a lacing/truing/balancing stand is in my future, as well as one of the more popular bead breaking/tire changing setups.... can't remember the name right now though.....
Would like to learn to lace my own wheels.... or at least I say that now
