I just got one of the new Skid Lids. The one with the thicker side straps and I like it pretty well. It doesnt get as much lift as my HD half did and looks a little smaller on my head.
i have the vega... i liked the way it fit a little better than the skid lid, but i bought mine a little small and regret it, so i guess its just up to what you like the look of, the strap is very long on the vega, not so sure about the skid lid
