When was that tank pic taken? I ask becouse the paint around the wrong emblem looks like ****, Their lots of rub marks like someone was trying to get the glue off the tank after they removed the original emblem somthing not right here... I bet this did not leave the factory this way!
I read your post and it almost made me want to go out and check my 09 Fat Bob. Good luck with that and I've never heard of that happening before. I'm interested in seeing what happens. Actually I am wanting to take my labels off the tank.

Did you buy the bike new or used ? this bike might be worth some money one day , i would first get on letter from the factory confirming this was a mistake and then take the tank off and save it and buy another with the correct emblems , i would not want to give the take back to the stealer... he might cash in on it later...
