Default Fueltank emblems on FXDF
Hi, I got my new 09 FXDF from the dealer last month but I noticed there are different emblems on each side of the fuel tank.
Anyone experienced such a case ?
The phots below show the emblems.

Well that's not how it should have came.
Every one I have ever seen (including my 2009 Fatbob) has the emblem in your first pic on both sides.

Thats weird maybe its like an upside down stamp and worth millions j/k. Id take it back to see what they have to say about it, I cant believe no one else noticed this.

This is completely unbelievable to me. How did everyone miss this while still at the dealer. They will fix it for you and they better do it quickly and painlessly!

I don't know about everybody else, but, I would have noticed that in a heartbeat. It would drive me crazy. Can't see it from my house though. Quality control Hmmm.

Thank you guys.
I will visit the dealer and ask them to fix those (that means replacing the tank, I guess) ... the idea to sell the tank as a rare edition on E-bay is really funny though

You should take advantage of the mishap... paint completely different schemes on each side of the bike.
